There is a CLUE$LAST_VAX072.LIS in SYS$MANAGER but it just records the last shutdown. I can (I think) recreate the crash at will so I can do that once I've finished the current FTP session (although that will probably take most of today ... 30GB is a lot to transfer on an emulated VAX!).

I can probably scrounge up a listings CD and BUGCHECK.MEM and see if I can remember how to walk a VAX stack, but I'm not sure where to go from there. I don't think HP will be interested and they almost certainly don't have anyone left who remembers how to generate an ECO for OpenVMS VAX. Even if they did, they wouldn't let me have it for free :-)
