Yes, I meant that the BIND resolver is not setup.   This even happens when opening an SSH session to localhost, which is defined in the local host database.

I hear you on the upgrade, but it is not as simple as "just upgrade" the environment.  Wish it was my call, wish it was that easy.   LOL
