The point remains: there's little evidence available that Robert
C Martin is as qualified of a programmer as he claims.

On the other hand, his publicly available work is of only
middling quality, at best, and much of his discussions of his
own qualifications amount to an appeal to authority. For
example, he did an "Ask Me Anything" on Hashnode and made this
comment:

Meanwhile, I've been a programmer for 48 years.
That's something of a rarity. Very few people alive
have been coding for 48 years straight. That sheer
level of experience puts me in a position of some
authority. I'm also a tolerably good writer, and
    that helps.

for context)

Well, no. Merely doing something for a long time does not a
priori put one in a position of authority as an expert in that
thing. There are those that balance their checkbooks for 48
years and that does not make them expert economists.

I have no argument that Mr Martin is a very accomplished
consultant and author. But that doesn't mean he's an expert in
the things that he consults on or writes about; I've seen little
evidence of his expertise as a software engineer, and indeed,
have seen disconfirming evidence.
