Thanks to all who replied. I think I'll move my stuff off the VAX
images onto ES40 and use Alpha instead. I've now applied for a
community licence for Alpha/VMS.
Although the question of how I can transfer my stuff off VAX images
without TCP/IP licence remains unanswered :-D
