FreeBSD 11 works well on old Ultra machines, OpenBSD and Netbsd as
well perhaps, but getting a boot image into the flash might be the
biggest obstacle, unless you can diskless boot over the network.
rarp, tftp, bootparams, nfs etc. Interesting to experiment with it
anyway and not being x86 is a plus in terms of security...
