Do you think it's _likely_ to be requested by any x86-64 customers ? :-)
On a more serious note, I wonder if I might get depressed if I ask
what obsolete oddball[*] protocols people _are_ planning to run on
a nice modern x86-64 VMS system.
For example, is anyone planning to run DDCMP on x86-64 VMS ?
[*] Something other than the usual candidates such as Telnet or
Ethernet based DECnet. For example, DDCMP, SNA, SLIP, etc.
