If you want to learn the current fashion for a job, that's what trade
schools are for (if you need them).

If you want to learn how to think and how to understand various abstract
concepts, that's what university is for.

A university will probably teach you the languages that are the current
fashion at the time of taking the courses, but their main purpose is to
give you a rounded and deep conceptual education.
