There are multiple arguments against systemd, and if you listen to the
arguments that people actually make, you might learn something about them.

There are people like me who complain that systemd is not necessary at all,
that it doesn't solve a problem on most systems.

There are other people who like the idea of a service manager, but they don't
like the idea of one monolithic clump that is the service manager but also
cron and also has fingers into other places. These people justifiably claim
that this is contrary to the traditional Unix philosophy of modularity.

There are also people who are okay with the idea of one monolithic clump
but are offended by the non-unix-style non-human-readable configuration
files.

Pay attention to the specific arguments people make rather than just putting
them all into one category.
