Subject: [Squaredancing] Need some article info
I am writing an article, or two, about square dancing, and I need some
articles for reference. Several months ago I got a reply to another
message, that stated square dancing has been labeled the number one aerobic
exercise. I can't remember who sent me that message, but I'd like to find
the source of the information. Who labeled square dancing the #1 Aerobic
Exercise?
Also, many years ago I remember seeing an article that referenced a
printing from the 1800 about square dancing. It was a reporter or writer
talking about visiting a mining camp and there was a square dance going on.
The dancers turned out to be all men, but half wore aprons or skirts and
danced the "women's" part.
If anyone knows where I can get this information, so I can quote it in
other articles, I'd appreciate the help,
  Thanks,
  Dave Hinde
