Arne and Tom:

I was in no way suggesting that the process should not continue as it
has with Source Forge nor to suggest that there be "new" project
created for the OpenVMS segments. I believe the code needs to get
back in the mainline source trees as quickly as possible. But case in
point is that HP stopped using Source Forge for GNV - it is way out of
date on SF. They need to keep using it as the repository and source
for other developers and maintainers - that is my point. It also
sounds like they are moving in that direction.

If I made it seem like I was suggesting we split things out for all
the Open Source packages for the OpenVMS development that is in no way
the goal nor desire - it would be foolish.

Bill.
