Nope, I tried zipping it and sending that (since I was able to put the
unzip.exe there just fine) but when I unzipped it and tried to run it
I got the same error.

And yes, I did set file type fixed on the Kermit before sending the
file. Pardon my language but this is really a funky-ass system.
Anal/image displayed the info to my screen just fine, but if I put /
out=junk.txt on it, it gave me an access violation.

We're set to upgrade this customer's system to an Integrity, so it's
not worth doing any system patches or upgrading the Kermit at this
point. But I also need to pull off a couple of the customer's data
files before we do the upgrade for business reasons. They're fairly
large, so I wanted to be able to zip them. I can have the customer
ftp them to me, but he's very non-technical so I'd like to do it
myself if I can.

Some more fiddling with it, the anal/image told me that I did, in
fact, somehow hose the file. So I deleted it and tried again. This
time I get:

$ run zip
%dcl-w-actimage, error activating image cma$tis_shr
-cli-e-imgname, image file $1$dia4:[sys0.syscommon.][syslib]cma
$tis_shr.exe
-system-f-shridmismat, ident mismatch with shareable image

Hmph, so there is something funny with the libraries on this machine.
Should I give up on this, and just have the customer ftp the data
files to me? Or can I copy the image from my computer without using
vmsinstal or doing a reboot? (Or hosing any other programs in the
process?)
