Load SimH on your Linux system and then install OpenVMS/VAX 7.3, you can 
then form a cluster to serve storage to your PWS500.

I do not know if http://www.es40.org/Project_Status is working well 
enough to have OpenVMS/Alpha serve disks.

Of course if you can add a USB adapter, then you can use USB storage.
