I suppose so, but my feeling is that the reliability of the 3800
was enough better than the 1403N1 to make up for that.  It really
is a pretty amazing machine.  The 1403 is, too, but from the age
of the 1401 computer.  Much better print quality than the drum
printers of the competition.  Just don't put multipart forms
through the 3800.
