It uses 8-1/2 x 11" copy paper and can print both sides.  It's more 
printer than I really need but at the time I bought it the alternative 
was some sort of an impact printer.  Yuck!

I've had it for eleven and twelve years now.  I'm on my second toner 
cartridge.
