It seems that the 3800 was around in 1975:

20,000 lines per minute, though the actual lines/minute rate
depends on the line pitch.  The paper moves at a constant speed so
more lines/inch means more lines/second.

has a picture of the 1403 model 2, but doesn't give a date.
I believe this is the version for S/360 and S/370, where
the model 1 would have been for the 1401.
