[Info-vax] EDS and HP hard to tell the difference

You are right. Without the unions, most people in the U.S and in
Europe
would still be dreaming of earning $10 a month, and so outsourcing or
best shoring to someone earning a month's pay per hour would be
ridiculous.
Wages are not very commonly thought of remaining the property of the
employer. Stupidity and focus on short-term gains is also not an
uncommon trait in union leadership.
The harsh nature of economics can't be blamed on any party in
particular.
It does make sense in any society to protect the most likely victims
by law
or other means for the direst consequences of changing economics
(or any other mischief that hurts only certain groups). As stupidity
is a universal
phenomenon, unions are unfortunately a necessity to bring this point
across to whoever is not a victim or even gaining from the ecomics.
When laws are in place to provide this protection, one would think
that
they should be abided to, and that not doing so would have
consequences.
Apparently, when it concerns illegal labour by  EDS/HP consultants
this is not the case. That is curious.
