I consider myself to be in a very fortunate spot- my employer values
the experience of its VMS team members and is willing to pay
appropriately for that experience.
However, it's a fast-paced, demanding environment and not for the
faint of heart.
They also value VMS and are migrating from Alpha to Integrity.
On the rare occasions when the VMS team has an opening, people with
less than ten years of mission-critical experience never get past the
"on paper" stage to a face-to-face interview.
And to proactively answer THE QUESTION, there are no openings at present.
