You did not need to go futher than that. And there are reasons why
Motorola, once a world leader for handsets, has fallen to the wayside
and become more or less irrelevant. I think Moto is seeking a buyer for
its dying mobile unit. It has lost the energy and imagination to develop
 something really good. The Razr line was a great marketing design, but
poor implementation. I fear it was Motorola's last gasp/attempt at survival.

There is a lot of consolidation in the market and even Sony Ericsson is
having trouble keeping up. Nokia, Samsung and LG are doing OK, and
obviously, so is Apple.
