I have a Motorola phone and I think it is a RAZR (Red). A poor design all
around. It has a built-in "camera" (I use the term bitting my tongue here)
that is encased in a bulge in the top of the flip up portion of the phone.
When you open the phone, the bulge presses against the battery compartment
latch on the backside and the compartment cover falls off. It's *the* most
annoying piece of shit I've ever paid too much money for. The stupid thing
also and too easily takes photos of my feet when I use it. Eventually, its
memory is exhausted and then you can't use the phone until its memory gets
purged. I've taken WAY too many trips to Sprint to get this cleared. I do
not talk on my camera; why should people photograph with their phone?

I hate the telephone in general. Calls are nuisance and an invasion of my
privacy and tranquility. As such, unless I travel long distance, I almost
NEVER carry the mobile phone. At home, it's someone else's duty to answer
the phone.
In college I had no phone. My first apartment after college had no phone.
I didn't have a phone service in my name until I was married. The choice
to do so wasn't mine then either.
Children shouldn't be permitted to own them before 25 years of age -- Just
like the restictions on auto rental. If I go out to eat, I see groups of
young people sitting about the table texting and chatting on their phones
and not amongst themselves. A few years ago, sitting at a hibachi table,
some uppity asshole in business attire was seated with my wife and I. He
had his phone on the table (no etiquette whatsoever) and it rang and he'd
answer throughout the first part of the meal. He was FN loud too! There
is no reason to draw the entire restaurant's attention to one pompous ass.
After consuming my sashimi appetiser and the chef started to cook at the
table, I got up and found the restaurant manager and asked to be seated at
another QUIETER table. They kindly obliged and didn't even charge me for
the evening's meal!
IMNSHO, the only good thing the mobile carriers provide me is EVDO. There
is no way to call that device! :)
