Unfortunately, Google makes it too easy to abuse this for denial of service.
Once blacklisted by this mechanism, it's very difficult to get removed from
it. I know one corporate site that had to involve the scum-of-the-earth to
intercede and coerce Google with legal rhetoric to get Google to remove the
blacklisting.
Auralmooon.com was blacklisted by a disgruntled former member. I took many
emails and contacts to Google to get the blacklist removed.
