What does your tcpip$smtp_common:smtp.config file look like ? You may
have some command that isn't compatible or something.
Also, make sure you stop TCPIP and restart it. Also make sure you don't
have old version files in sys$common:[sysexe] and [syslib]
I've had many complaints about SMTP software on VMS, bot the receiver is
a simple program that just writes messages as it receives them, so it
doesn't need to hold them in virtual memory.
