The folks on the OpenVMS Team have said they are restructuring the
Freeware environment.  They are not abandoning it to my knowledge.  In
my discussions with them they are looking to get back to being able to
offer individual packages rather than just CD images.

Having as many potential sources as possible makes it easier for
interested parties.
