[Info-vax] strange backup behavior

It appears that the emulator *may* be causing the behavior. The
emulator can access SCSI devices either directly or via Windows, our's
does it directly. I'm going to change to via Windows and see how that
works.
Another possibility is replacing the emulator's TQK50 driver with the
physical_scsi_device driver. I'll try that if the first change
doesn't work out.
Thank you for the analysis and comments. I'll let y'all know what
happens.
