When you have a high value, high quality product which has
differentiated itself from the rest of the market in large part due to
having a highly experiencedf engineering group, and you replace this
unique gfroup with highly replaceable drones, keeping only a few
experienced ones, you greatly devalue the quality of the product.

In essence, HP zapped a lot of value from its assets when it let go this
highly experienced team to be replaced with replaceable drones.


It will take years before we know for sure what this new organisation is
capable of.

But right now, ask Mr VAXman what he thinks of the quality of changes
made to 8.4.
