Well, not really. The instruction I gave him was to send me the server.
The side panels were on the server and he took them off of his own
accord. This much is true. However, he only charged me for the
"volumetric weight" (a.k.a. dimensional weight) of the server itself
without the side panels. He did what he thought was right.
Now that I have the server, I tend to agree with him that it's way too
noisy to use anywhere near where someone is trying to live or work. So
the pedestal kit is pretty much useless to me.
