If a standard conforming browser receives the correct
content type and the correct content then it should display
it correctly.
If the files logical content applying RMS rules is
correct then a correct web server should serve the
correct content.
(read: if the files bytes and the ORG & RFM matches then ...)
...
I am traditional so I consider VAR to be the proper format
for text files.
