As well as I understand it, Berkeley did all the TCP/IP stuff that
went into Unix. Originally only licensed Unix users could use it.
Now, we might not be writing this on a TCP/IP based newsgroup
service without it.

As well as I understand it, he was more than just a little
involved, but a big proponent.
