That surprises me, because the NT Magazine article I read in 1997
describing NT at the system level was so like VMS (working sets, quantum
et al) that if I'd known I could have written most of that article
myself, purely from my knowledge of VMS.
Of course, Cutler wasn't the only one recruited out of DEC.
And I've said this before, but whoever was responsible for NT's pagefile
creation had probably had no contact with VMS since some point before
best-try-contiguous files came along (V3.0 or V3.1 IIRC).
