   Why do people climb mountains?

   I ported a version of SIMH VAX years ago to VMS on my Alpha and to 
   OS X on my Mac.  Booted VMS on both.  Just because.  Didn't keep 
   either.

   Mostly it told me how portable SIMH was at that time.  I was suprised
   a couple years later when folks had trouble porting a later version
   of SIMH to a later version of OS X.  I understand that has long since
   been fixed.
