Well, I have seen nmerous people here lament the fact that the only
version of emacs available on VMS is rather dated. Are you saying
that there really is no one who wants a newer emacs on VMS?

I wasn't doing emacs for me. While I have used emacs for decades
when on VMS I tend to use EDT or LSE. And don't knock my VS3100's.
They have served em well for quite some time and others, as well.
(A number of the binaries on Columbia for Kermit on the VAX were
built on those machines.)
