Actually, Smoke for Mac is supposed to be a dressed down version of
the 'big' Smoke, for Linux (and originally IRIX).  In other words,
it's not exactly the same (it doesn't *require* SDI I/O hardware
and dedicated FC/SAS storage, for instance) and can be ran on
/relatively/ 'cheap' hardware (like Apple laptops), well, for
Autodesk standards anyway...

Maybe Autodesk will make a more serious move to OS X in the future,
but at the moment they still primarily seem to be using HP's "z"-
series workstations mostly.

Remember how I had an 'FS' thread, for my rx2620s a while back?  I
later also posted a follow-up, wherein I said that I was alternatively
also potentially interested to do a trade for a zx2000.  In the end,
nobody (with a zx2000 to possibly sell/trade) was interested, or
wanted it 1:1 (which I didn't feel like, with the "Montecito" CPUs
in them and all).  So, they're surprisingly hard to get one's hands
on...
