Correction: It's /NOT/ bloated, damn it (sorry about that).
But, I think you must have gotten that though, but thought it
was probably better to clarify that either way.

There's one negative point about NetBSD, which I forgot to
mention and which is perhaps worth mentioning.  I don't know
about VAX, I've never tried anything other than VMS for VAX,
but for AXP (i.e. NetBSD/alpha) it can be a surprising bit of
a pain; especially if you're also dealing with a system with a
dead/weak NVR/TOY battery.

I tried NetBSD on a DEC Multia/UDB, before I 'fixed' the issue
with the battery and I couldn't get it installed at all.  I
found that rather peculiar, I certainly didn't expect that
from NetBSD...
