HP has not to my knowledge made any statements on HP-UX recently. They
did state over the years that there wre no plans to port VMS, NSK and
HP-UX beyond Itanium. That statement lost credibility when HP made plans
to port NSK to 8086, and now with HP agreeing someone else port VMS to 8086.

The shoe has yet to drop on HP-UX.
