So, they are waiting to run it on one of their new versions, to which 
they will have the right to issue PAKs.

Seriously, I have my doubts that HP is looking over VSI's shoulder, or 
cares much about anything they do.  It is VSI that will allow HP to sell 
some more itanics, and to continue to collect some service revenue.
