[Info-vax] DS10 fan replacements

I have a DS10 that I bought on Ebay "for parts" hoping I could get it running. It came with the CPU heat sink and the 80mm case fans missing. The 92mm case fan was still there and works. I found a 80mm case fan that has close specs to what was there and a heatsink fan that works but the RMC still reports the fans as failing. I couldn't find specs for the heat sink fan so I had to wing it.

Does anyone know how the monitor determines if the fans are good? Both case fans are 2-wire so no PWM type monitoring possible. The CPU fan is a 3-wire - it turns when the power comes on but still registers and "failing" and then the system powers off after 30 second.

Failing that. Doe anyone know if a DS15 motherboard can be put in a DS10 case? Picture-wise they look nearly identical. The SCSI Ultra160 connector on the back may be a problem. It looks to be in the same position as the db-25 connector on the DS10 is.
