Are you sure about the second paragraph ?

If HPE gets taken over, there will still be a successor organisation
that will still exist and will be big enough to be sued.

In the eyes of the people making these purchasing decisions, what
guarantee do they have that VSI will be big enough to sue and will
still be around in 5 years, either as VSI or as part of a larger
organisation ?

That's the kind of thing some people will be thinking of.
