I've not read the license in a long time. But I thought that it was
possible to use the open source code in something without requiring that
all of that system subsequently be made open source. Meaning I thought
you could use the open source code, keeping /that/ code open, in the
rest of the code that is closed source.
Any modifications to the open source code will likely need to be open as
well.
But that's significantly different than requiring that the rest of the
system be open sourced.
