I was talking about Fahrenheit, not the general system of Imperial/English/US Customary units. Let's get that straight, okay? I'll repeat it. I WAS TALKING ABOUT FAHRENHEIT, NOT THE GENERAL SYSTEM OF UNITS USED IN THE US. BTW, the US uses metric units for lots of things.
If there are Americans who bash Fahrenheit, so what? I was responding to America-bashers. Let's get that straight.

Germans fired v2 rockets at civilian populations. The US went to the moon. Yes, there's the rest of history. So what?
