I have a hard time understanding why all people cannot see things the 
same, when it's so fundamental.  Such as just how wrong it is to chuck a 
girl into a pit and start chucking rocks at her.  But, it happens.

Simon, I'm starting to feel we could never agree on many things.  From 
my perspective, it's because you're unreasonable.

In my simple example, the topic of safety systems wasn't mentioned, and 
is irrelevant.  The issue was failure to drive safely.  That has nothing 
to do with the car, or safety equipment.

I ask again, are we to scrap all cars except maybe the current year's 
models?
