I don't generally read the license documents, but the few I have
looked at all contain some variant of the same exclusion.  Basically,
use it at your own risk.

The consulting contracts that Digital used had similar language that
said the client was responsible for deciding whether to use any
software or ideas produced on their behalf.  If the custom
applications didn't work, or the advice turned out to be bad, then
Digital was not responsible for any losses -- economic or otherwise.

If people could sue over faulty software then Microsoft would be out
of business by now.
